1. How did Bangabandhu pay tribute to the language martyrs?
Answer: Bangabandhu delivered his speech in Bangla as the first person ever in the UN history and thus paid tribute to the language martyrs.
2. Why did Bangabandhu seek togetherness and global partnership?
Answer: Bangabandhu sought togetherness and global partnership to bring down all types of humanitarian crises in the world and the big gap between the rich and poor countries.
3. What foreign policy did Bangabandhu formulate in his speech?
Answer: Bangabandhu’s foreign policy was to follow the ideology of mutual respect, national sovereignty, regional integrity, co-operation, and non-interference into internal issues of other countries.

Answer: I think Bangabandhu could very well speak about national, regional, and international problems as he was aware of the human crises all over the world. He mentioned his own country had been damaged by the war and also expressed the painful feeling of other oppressed nations.
5. Why did the text term Bangabandhu as a leader of the oppressed and leader of the third world?
Answer: Bangabandhu was termed as leader of the oppressed and leader of the third world because he expressed his concern about the problems of the oppressed and the crises of the poor countries.

Bangabandhu at the UN Summary
Bangladesh became a member of the UN after another struggle with some influential international communities. Bangabandhu in his first participation of the general assembly delivered his speech in Bangla in the history of the UN and paid tribute to the language martyrs. He mentions Bangladesh's stand with the UN on different national and international issues where the country pledges to follow UN charters. Bangladesh would also follow its foreign policy with the ideology of mutual respect, national sovereignty, regional integrity, cooperation, and non-interference into internal issues of other countries. Bangabandhu thanked the United Nations to accept Bangladesh as a member of the organization and expressed his gratitude to all the countries who came forward to assist his motherland by providing food, shelter, and aid during the liberation war. He expressed his solidarity for the oppressed people and poor countries as he was aware of the human crises all over the world. He mentioned his own country had been damaged by the war and also expressed the painful feeling of other oppressed nations. Finally, he called for unity amongst the countries, and a unified financial management system and to take action to reduce financial gaps in addition to minimizing humanitarian crises.
